Responsibilities:
- Architect and launch complex Hardware IoT systems/solutions across vertical domains
-Track new IoT hardware technology development in order to maintain contemporary solution architect and create technology roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross divisional teams to ensure solution is developed for desired architectural approach
- Partner with business development and sales team to articulate the USP of the solutions and value propositions to win new customers
Qualifications:
- 5+ year experience in electronic devices and development of smart home products, proficient in IoT hardware design and architecture. Experience of working with internal/external customers to implement large scale solutions for Smart Home/City architecture/project is preferred.
- Strong background in utilizing ECAD tools for smart hardware design, schematics, PCB layout, proficient on BOM estimation, component selection and verifications, etc.
- Profound knowledge on solving complicated problem, e.g. EMC, simulation/modelling, thermal & mechanical analysis; experience on supporting OEM and ODM to solve problems on manufacture.
- Extensive experience with variety of connecting solutions, both wired and wireless communications, like Ethernet, Wifi, BLE, ZigBee, NB-IoT, etc. product development experiences with mainstream chipset solutions (e.g. Broadcom, Qualcomm, etc.).
- Familiar with IoT edge hardware platforms based on both x86 and ARM, and physical & logical security methods in hardware, e.g. secure storage, anti-tamper, etc.
- Presentation and communication skills with high degree of comfort with technical and business audiences
- Highly self-motivated with passion for innovation, risk-taking and making the impossible possible.
- Sensitive to new technologies and ability to learn quickly, adapt to changes, and getting things done.
