Morning fellow members.

There is one question. Why do you think Toastmasters could last for nearly 100 years and still gether so many excellent people at present? Because Toastmasters could meet our member's needs of further improvement right?

But how? There is a famous saying goes, "self-discipline makes one free". Yes, at Toastmasters, we need to do the speech under specific objectives and also the time. Actually you could find the time limits on the agenda, my role is to use three cards to make sure you finish it on time.

Commonly, for 2~3 minutes' speech, like in the TT session, evaluation session, I'll raise the green card if there is only one minute left, you could keep going; the yellow card if only 30 seconds left, please transit to the message part; the red card when time is up, please end your speech within 30 seconds or I'll bell the ring that mean you are disqualified to be the best speeker.

For 3~10 minutes' speech, like in the prepared speech session and ome of our evaluators, I' raise the green card when two minutes left, the yellow card when one minutes left and the red card when time is up and 30 seconds later bell ring for the disqualificator.

For the overtime and end too early, there are several tips.

1. Keep the time limit in mind. Grab the chance on the stage and make a goal for the full use of time.

2.manage your structure and calculate your speed, at what time you should go to the story and what time to deliver the message.

3.change your speed for accommodation.
