上帝为什么建造伊甸园

这段时间一直抽时间造园子。

疫情期间，公司的事情相对较少，所以抽出时间整理一下园子，这是原因之一。但疫情逐步缓解，而我造园子的热情不减，不但自己造园子，还带上了老婆、孩子、朋友。

我自己也奇怪，为什么自己这么喜欢造园子？

3月初，疫情的管控已经略有放松了，这个时候，我开始整理土地，翻土、浇水、修整园中的各个分区。

然后，3月下旬，我开始扎篱笆，开始自己扎了两个园子，然后带领一帮朋友又扎了7个，目前已经完成了9个园子。

一边扎园子，一边在园子周边种树，种向日葵，种野菜。我还干了几件让大家取笑的事情：我打算用细毛竹围一个公用厕所，到目前为止，只围了一面难看的墙，孤零零地立在地风中；我还在地里安置了两只水桶，结果放水浇地的时候，它们都浮了起来，在园里子“巡游”。

4月初，我又开始种菜，自己先种了一园子大蒜，一园子蚕豆，一园子蔬菜，包括西红柿、茄子、辣椒等等。后来又组织朋友们种了三园子各类蔬菜。期间有许多朋友来帮忙，无私地出义工，很热情，下到地里顶着太阳和风沙（4月沙风还比较大）一干半天，让人感动。

我一边干活儿，一边思考一个问题：我为什么这么热衷于造园子？那些高级知识分子朋友们，为什么也喜欢在地里不计报酬地辛勤劳动？

劳动是一种谋生的手段，从这一角度来看，人们应该讨厌劳动才对。但为什么人们喜欢很多无价值的劳动？比如有人喜欢做木工，有人喜欢养花养草或者栽树？而且这些劳动往往带给人的是快乐，是满足，是一种平和的幸福感。

我在读《圣经》的时候，最开始的一章是《创世纪》。在读《创世纪》的时候，我就提出过一个疑问：上帝为什么要造万物？为什么要造人类？是上帝吃饱了撑地没事儿干？还是单纯觉得好玩？

中国的传说中，盘古开天地，女娃造人，也没有说他们为什么要这么干，也是吃饱了撑地没事儿干？单纯觉得好玩？

我天天往地里跑，吃着风沙撅着腚，也是为了好玩儿？

如果能回答得了神造万物的问题，我的问题应该也就找到答案了。

上帝与我同在。

为了找到上帝创造万物的目的，我重读了《圣经》第1-2章，并把内容抄录如下：

第1章：

1:1 起初神创造天地。

At the first God made the heaven and theearth.

1:2 地是空虚混沌。渊面黑暗。神的灵运行在水面上。

]And the earth was without form, andvoid; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God movedupon the face of the waters.

1:3 神说，要有光，就有了光。

And God said, Let there be light: andthere was light.

1:4 神看光是好的，就把光暗分开了。

And God saw the light, that it was good:and God divided the light from the darkness.

1:5 神称光为昼，称暗为夜。有晚上，有早晨，这是头一日。

And God called the light Day, and thedarkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

1:6 神说，诸水之间要有空气，将水分为上下。

And God said, Let there be a firmamentin the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

1:7 神就造出空气，将空气以下的水，空气以上的水分开了。事就这样成了。

And God made the firmament, and dividedthe waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above thefirmament: and it was so.

1:8 神称空气为天。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。

And God called the firmament Heaven. Andthe evening and the morning were the second day.

1:9 神说，天下的水要聚在一处，使旱地露出来。事就这样成了。

And God said, Let the waters under theheaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and itwas so.

1:10 神称旱地为地，称水的聚处为海。神看是好的。

And God called the dry land Earth; andthe gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it wasgood.

1:11 神说，地要发生青草，和结种子的菜蔬，并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。事就这样成了。

And God said, Let the earth bring forthgrass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after hiskind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

1:12 于是地发生了青草，和结种子的菜蔬，各从其类，并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。神看着是好的。

And the earth brought forth grass, andherb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed wasin itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

1:13 有晚上，有早晨，是第三日。

And the evening and the morning were thethird day.

1:14 神说，天上要有光体，可以分昼夜，作记号，定节令，日子，年岁。

And God said, Let there be lights in thefirmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be forsigns, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

1:15 并要发光在天空，普照在地上。事就这样成了。

And let them be for lights in thefirmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

1:16 于是神造了两个大光，大的管昼，小的管夜。又造众星。

And God made two great lights; thegreater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he madethe stars also.

1:17 就把这些光摆列在天空，普照在地上。

And God set them in the firmament of theheaven to give light upon the earth,

1:18 管理昼夜，分别明暗。神看着是好的。

And to rule over the day and over thenight, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

1:19 有晚上，有早晨，是第四日。

And the evening and the morning were thefourth day.

1:20 神说，水要多多滋生有生命的物，要有雀鸟飞在地面以上，天空之中。

And God said, Let the waters bring forthabundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above theearth in the open firmament of heaven.

1:21 神就造出大鱼和水中所滋生各样有生命的动物，各从其类。又造出各样飞鸟，各从其类。神看着是好的。

And God created great whales, and everyliving creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, aftertheir kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

1:22 神就赐福给这一切，说，滋生繁多，充满海中的水。雀鸟也要多生在地上。

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful,and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in theearth.

1:23 有晚上，有早晨，是第五日。

And the evening and the morning were thefifth day.

1:24 神说，地要生出活物来，各从其类。牲畜，昆虫，野兽，各从其类。事就这样成了。

And God said, Let the earth bring forththe living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast ofthe earth after his kind: and it was so.

1:25 于是神造出野兽，各从其类。牲畜，各从其类。地上一切昆虫，各从其类。神看着是好的。

And God made the beast of the earthafter his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth uponthe earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

1:26 神说，我们要照着我们的形像，按着我们的样式造人，使他们管理海里的鱼，空中的鸟，地上的牲畜，和全地，并地上所爬的一切昆虫。

And God said, Let us make man in ourimage, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, andover every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

1:27 神就照着自己的形像造人，乃是照着他的形像造男造女。

So God created man in his own image, inthe image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1:28 神就赐福给他们，又对他们说，要生养众多，遍满地面，治理这地。也要管理海里的鱼，空中的鸟，和地上各样行动的活物。

And God blessed them, and God said untothem, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: andhave dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and overevery living thing that moveth upon the earth.

1:29 神说，看哪，我将遍地上一切结种子的菜蔬和一切树上所结有核的果子，全赐给你们作食物。

And God said, Behold, I have given youevery herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and everytree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be formeat.

1:30 至于地上的走兽和空中的飞鸟，并各样爬在地上有生命的物，我将青草赐给它们作食物。事就这样成了。

And to every beast of the earth, and toevery fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, whereinthere is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

1:31 神看着一切所造的都甚好。有晚上，有早晨，是第六日。

And God saw every thing that he hadmade, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were thesixth day.

第2章

2:1 天地万物都造齐了。

Thus the heavens and the earth werefinished, and all the host of them.

2:2 到第七日，神造物的工已经完毕，就在第七日歇了他一切的工，安息了。

And on the seventh day God ended hiswork which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his workwhich he had made.

2:3 神赐福给第七日，定为圣日，因为在这日神歇了他一切创造的工，就安息了。

And God blessed the seventh day, andsanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Godcreated and made.

2:4 创造天地的来历，在耶和华神造天地的日子，乃是这样。

These are the generations of the heavensand of the earth when they were created,in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

2:7 耶和华神用地上的尘土造人，将生气吹在他鼻孔里，他就成了有灵的活人，名叫亚当。

And the LORD God formed man of the dustof the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and manbecame a living soul.

2:8 耶和华神在东方的伊甸立了一个园子，把所造的人安置在那里。

And the LORD God planted a gardeneastward in Eden;and there he put the man whom he had formed.

读到这里时，我有了一个惊奇的发现：原来上帝创造万物，是为了一个园子！

上帝创造天地万物，原来是为了建立一个园子，那个园子叫“伊甸园”。而上帝创造亚当也不是为了好玩，而是需要一个人来帮他修理看守园子。这个从下面的文章中可以看出来：

2:15 耶和华神将那人安置在伊甸园，使他修理看守。

And the LORD God took the man, and puthim into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

那么上帝创造夏娃的目的呢？

2:18 耶和华神说，那人独居不好，我要为他造一个配偶帮助他。

And the LORD God said, It is not goodthat the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

唉，原来是为了让亚当不孤独，所以造一个配偶来帮助他！

你看，这样一路读下来，分析下来，我们就得到了一个简单但惊人的发现：

上帝喜欢造园子！

我也喜欢造园了。

上帝为了造一个园子，不得不创造了万物和人类。

上帝与我同在。

阿门！

但是，注意我说了但是，上面的这一段分析只解释了“上帝为什么创造了万物和人类”，但一个新的问题又出现了：上帝为什么喜欢造园子？

如果能够回答了这个问题，也就能回答最初的问题：我为什么喜欢造园子？

问题又回到了起点上。

还是从《圣经》中找答案吧！大家注意，我在长段的引用中对反复出现的句子加了黑体：上帝在每一天完成创造后，都会觉得“神看着是好的”，而在第六日，“神看着一切所造的都甚好”。

这些反复出现的句子表明：每一天的创造都给神带来了快乐。

也就是说，上帝之所以喜欢创造万物，是因为这劳动给他带来了快乐。

劳动是令人快乐的，也是令神快乐的。

为什么大多数劳动是让人感到疲惫、厌倦的，而有些劳动却是让人快乐的？

继续探究，我发现了一个关键词。就在《创世纪》第一章的总结语中。

2:4 创造天地的来历，在耶和华神造天地的日子，乃是这样。

These are the generations of the heavensand of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made theearth and the heavens,

看，这个关键词就是“创造”，英文中使用了过去时“created”。

这个关键词足以回答上帝乐于造园子的原因。

创造性劳动才是令人快乐的！

我们回过头来想一想，那些让我们感到疲惫、厌倦的劳动，不正是那些重复性的，没有创造性的劳动吗？

那些伟大的科学家们，穷其一生追求的科学技术的进步，是不是一种创造？这创造让他们感到快乐、富足。

那些著名的企业家们，他们历经千辛万苦创造属于自己的品牌或商业帝国，是不是一种创造？这创造同样让他们感到快乐、富足。

那些革命家、政治家们，他们抛头颅洒热血，建立起人民政权、自由之邦，是不是一样创造？这创造岂不带给他们最大的快乐与富贵？

而我们普通的小老百姓们，一生有多少机会去进行伟大的创造？没有，在当代社会中，90%的人过着中规中矩，按部就班的生活，工作中也只是命令的执行者，我们有过多少创造呢？很少！

而反观那些自己创业的人们，他们常常收入不稳定，日子过得紧张兮兮，很多人随时处于破产的边缘，但他们给我们的感觉仍然是快乐的，富于活力与激情。为什么？因为他们在主动性创造，按照他们自己的理想创造自己的未来。

在同一个人的身上，不也是如此吗？新东方的俞敏洪在创业的初期不是像打了鸡血一样昂扬奋斗吗？但就是几天前，我还在微信群里看到他的抱怨。他在抱怨什么呢？他想离开自己折腾了几十年，已经全无新鲜感的新东方，他想去二次创业，想去过另一种新的人生，但是，太多的现实利益和太多人的期望把他绑在了新东方这台机器上。

没有创造，再伟大的事业也无趣。

再小的创造，哪怕只是把一颗种子培养成一株小苗，都是令人快乐和惊喜的。

这就是创造性劳动与重复性劳动的差别。

分析到这里，我终于理清了关于上帝与自己的疑问。

上帝的意愿是建立一个园子，叫“伊甸”，这个创造的过程带给他乐趣，所以，“神看着一切所造的都甚好”。等到创造完成后，从《圣经》第3章开始，上帝的的烦恼就开始了，为了管理人类，上帝不断发怒，这是外话，不再扩展。

我的目标是建立一个园子，叫“一分田园”，这个创造的过程带给我乐趣，所以，我把空闲的时间和精力都投了进去，梦想造出一个属于自己的“伊甸园”，或者中国文人心中的“桃花源”。

原来，这是一个关于“创造”的命题。

我终于找到了自己一切动力的源泉，这也解释了我一而再再而三地创业的原因：不断创造新的梦想，并不断去接近它，实现它，并在这个过程中，享受创造带给自己的快乐与富足。

那么，我梦想中的“伊甸园”或者“桃花源”是什么样子的呢？

一条大河的边上，千亩稻田的一角，我建起一片园子。

园子成片，个个方正，六十个，每个六十四平，用篱笆围起来，园内栽果树，种蔬菜，春有花枝俏，夏有蝉蛙鸣，秋有百果香，冬来雪不清。

我还在地头儿栽了一棵高大的海棠树，围着海棠，是一片向日葵。虽然现在仍是春季，但我已经在心中看到了那一片金色的向日葵，向着太阳张开微笑的脸。

我还要扎一个厕所，用毛竹做成，在它的北面，我还要搭起一排葫芦架，高过头顶，架下安上一条长长的木板，夏日成荫后，我在葫芦架下休息喝茶，也许会有朋友来，一同在架下谈谈并不精彩的人生。

我还要在所有的园子门外种上矢车菊，当秋天到来，它们的绿叶中会一同开出金黄的花朵，从东面地头儿，长长地延伸至西面地头儿。

我还要种上野菜，种上花生，种上西瓜，种上各式各样的蔬菜。有人来，随意摘，随意挖，我的创造带给我的快乐，要分享给懂得欣赏生活的人。

我要造一个园子，就像上帝创造的伊甸。

我的朋友们，那些热爱劳动的人们，那些欣赏生活的人们，愿你们也同我一样，找到创造性劳动的快乐，做一个不甘心平庸的人。
