04. 语法语用
句式
Besides...what else...
The "besides..., what else..." question pattern is used when asking others to add to a list of things or actions. It's similar to saying, "IN addition to (noun/gerund), what other things does (person) need to do or get?" Just remember, that the noun/gerund that comes after "besides" has already been mentioned.
And, when referring to places or people, "what else" should be changed to "where else" or "who else". For example, "Besides New York, where else would you like to go?"
例句:
Besides meat, what else should we buy for the cookout?
Besides skiing, what else do you like to do in winter?
Besides brunch, what else do you plan to do today?
