Before we decided to travel in Tokyo, I though it was a modern city with a large number of shopping centres and busy pedestrians. The very identical modern city where you can find in every country. I am not a big fan in burning money or exhausting oneself crossing in various shopping malls. I love temples and yummy food. That was why I was extremely thrilled the day we went to the Tsukiji fish market. We almost tried every single specialty recommended on the internet. For the sea urchins, we spent nearly three hours lining up waiting for our turn. When we sat down on the tiny chair in the congested space, I was a little bit disappointed. However, all the weariness vanished when the servings came up. Not to be extravagant, my saliva almost dropped. It all paid off.
Sea urchins servingI can still remember the tenderness and sweetness of the sea urchins, just like some salty ice cream melt the moment it be placed at the tip of your tongue. The sea urchins matched so well together with Japanese soy sauce. The two Japanese ladies ordered the same serving and judged from their exclamation and facial expression, I could tell even the locals were deeply attracted by the delicious food.
