Marisa had been teaching Lalo to be a good dog.
玛丽莎教过拉洛做一只乖狗狗。
Sometimes he obeyed. Sometimes he didn't.
有时他听话。有时他不听话。
Marisa said, "Come!" But Lalo didn't come.
玛丽莎说：“过来！”但是拉洛没有过来。

She said, "Roll over!" But Lalo didn't roll over.
她说：“打滚！”但是拉洛没有打滚。

"Let's go for a walk," said Mom. "Maybe that will help."
“我们去散步吧，”妈妈说。“也许会有帮助。”
Outside, Lalo ran this way and that.
在外面，拉洛跑来跑去。
Marisa said,"By my side." Lalo walked by her side.
玛丽莎说：“待在我身边。”拉洛走在她身边。

A squirrel ran across the road.
一只松鼠跑过马路。
Marisa said, "Sit!" Lalo sat.
玛丽莎说：“坐！”拉洛坐下了。

Their neighbor, Mr. Brown, stopped to say hello.
他们的邻居布朗先生停下来打招呼。
Lalo jumped on him.
拉洛想跳到他身上。
Marisa said, "Down!" Lalo lay down.
玛丽莎说:“下来！”拉洛趴下了。

"What a good dog!" said Mr. Brown.
“多乖的一只狗！”布朗先生说。
"He has a good teacher," said Mom.
“他有一个好老师，”妈妈说。
"Woof!" said Lalo.
“汪”拉洛说。
