1. This weekend I met a new friend, and we were supposed to have California Roll as dinner. But to my disappointment, the store has closed! I was expecting to recollect those good times when I was traveling in Peru. We have other dishes with quinoa instead, which tasted fine. Then, we stopped by the Civic Square and took a look of Taichung Jazz Festival. The whole town turned out for the festival. It was too crowded that we can barely walked in the lawn. My friend got me a cup of sangria; he had a wheat bear and some German sausages, we still had good time though.

2. I worried myself to death on hearing my mom’s going to undergo spine surgery again. I really wish everything will be fine this time. When facing our loved ones sick (which happens even more frequent than expected), all I could do is nothing. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is always weak. I wish I could be the one they could count on someday.
3. Let’s not stuck in this stormy weather and have something interesting to talk about. People rarely get the chance to talk with someone without a sense of shame... I got that chance. I didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry for seeing someone speaking that arrogantly... Maybe he do have a good command of English, of Math, of whatever, but he should know that there is always somebody better.
