That summer, that girl, that thr

The days just glided by.  Many  things I have forgotten, many people I have never met again. But there are always some precious experiences in my memory.

Today I miss them again, that summer, that little girl, that three cats, 20 years ago.

The story happened when I  was 12 years old. On one rainy afternoon in summer, when I  was walking by a street corner near my home, I  heard some sounds“miao miao miao”,walked to the sounds, I  found three cats. One was old and the other two  were young, I guessed that they were mother and children. They were shivering. I  thought maybe they were cold or hungry. I  took out biscuits from my bag, and put them in front of the cats. They  looked at me for a while, and then ate up the biscuits immediately. They  looked at me friendly, I  could feel.

When  I  wanted to leave, another girl walked to the cats. She  put some fried fish in front of them. They  ate it happily. I  felt that they were familiar with each other.  Maybe  she came here often, and always took some foods to the cats. What  a nice girl.

Since  then,  I  went to see that three cats every other day. Almost  I  met that girl every time. One  afternoon, I didn’t go there because of heavy rain. The  next time, I  went to see my friends-three cats with some foods as usual, but I didn’t  see that girl. The next time, I  didn’t see her ,neither. Why  didn’t she come again? I  waited and waited, but I  didn’t see her again since then. At that time, I suddenly recognized, I missed her, but I even didn’t know her name! I still went to see the cats. But what’s  worse? After  about two weeks later，that  three cats were gone ! Where  would they go?  What  happened to them? I  looked for them everywhere, but  I  couldn’t find them at all.  That September, I lost my friends.

I’ve never seen that girl since then, maybe she came to the town for summer holiday, maybe her family moved away, I don’t know. I’ve never seen that three cats, neither. And sometimes, they were in my dream.
