Barbara Ding wrote The Gate to Paradise 25 years ago and put it on the stage in Australia. It touched many hearts, deeply, and was a great success. 25 years later, she has now rewritten the script and at the invitation of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, they will once again show this important chapter of the Australian, and Chinese, history to a greater audience.
