尽在雨中

那匹母马在旷野中伫立——

一棵如盖的松树，一间棚屋，

但她留在原地

屁股迎风，被雨溅湿。

我曾在四月试着捉住她

骑上一段，不用马鞍，

她踢腿挣脱

随后在山坡下面

桉树的树荫中

啃食新鲜的嫩草。

All Through the Rains

That mare stood in the field—

A big pine tree and a shed，

But she stayed in the open

Ass to the wind,splash wet.

I tried to catch her April

For a bareback ride,

She kicked and bolted

Later grazing fresh shoots

In the shade of the down

Eucalyptus on the hill.
