    1. intersection= a place where roads, lines, etc. join or cross each other

    e.g. The school is at the intersection of two main roads.

    2. prevalent= very common in a particular place or among a particular group

    e.g. This negative attitude is surprisingly prevalent among young boys.

    e.g. the prevalent diseases in Western society

    3. connotation= a quality or an idea that a word makes you think of that is more than its basic meaning → denotation

    e.g. The word ‘professional’ has connotations of skill and excellence.

    4. prior...to= prior to something 

    prior--adj.

    e.g. All the arrangements should be completed prior to your departure.
