African slave

Tied to whipping post

Blood on bone, blood on bone

Heavy lashing

Whip strikes flesh

Blood flying, bone cracking

Weeping…

Weeping, horrid screams

Spectators recording with their eyes

Some smirking

Some laughing

A few in the back-roll cringing

With tears in their eyes

Blood like tears, bone cringing horror

The whipping continues 100 times

Whip cracking at lightning speed

100 more times

It is music to slave master’s ears

A sadistic pleasure

Only a superior, Godly person

Can understand

Superior and Godly

Only in slave master’s sick mind

Slave master

Performs one final bloodthirsty act

Pressing rock salt into

Raw, living flesh

Blood streaming, bone steaming heat

The slave’s screaming and weeping

Have all but stopped

The African woman drooping

Over her blood stained ropes

Silent and lifeless

It is a cold, cold sight to behold
