Processing strategy: Here you may select the strategy used for selecting the baselines to create the single-difference observation files for your network solution. In the automatic modes baselines will be formed in a way that all stations will be connected by a non-redundant set of baselines.

In general the option OBS-MAX guarantees the best performance for the processing of a network using correct correlations. In special cases a different option may be selected in order to optimize the number of observations for a station of special interest.

OBS-MAX: The baselines are created taking into account the number of common observations for the associated stations. From all possible combinations, a set of baselines with maximum common observations is chosen.

The number of observations are scaled to a sampling rate of one minute and to one frequency when the set of baselines is selected. In this way zero-difference files with different sampling rates are handled in a similar way.

Remark: This strategy guarantees that a maximum number of observations from the network can be used in the double-difference processing. The procedure is, however, time consuming because the zero-difference observation files have to be analyzed several times.

SHORTEST:The non-redundant set of shortest baselines is created irrespective of the observation scenario of the stations. The strategy can only be used if the observations from all stations cover the same time interval.

STAR: The baselines are built by connecting one reference station with all remaining stations. You may select the reference station manually. Otherwise the reference station will be selected automatically in a way that the sum of the length of all baselines is minimized.

DEFINED: Only the "Predefined baselines" from a baseline definition file (see section "INPUT FILES") are created.

MANUAL: Only one baseline is created. You have to select two zero-difference observation files and you may specify a name for the resulted single-difference observation file.

Remark: For the strategies OBS-MAX and SHORTEST you have the possibility to specify "Predefined baselines" from a baseline definition file in the section "INPUT FILES". The predefined baselines are created in any case. Additional baselines are built using the selected strategy to complete the set of baselines.
