image.pngHi everybody, welcome back to e-cubed, e-cubed, I like that. Today's expression, let's start, today's expression, I had a long week. I had a long week. What do you mean I had a long week? Everybody's week is the same, seven days in a week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Sunday. Whatever, everyday is the same. How come you had a long week, then I had a short week? What do you mean? This is a great expression, and it means I had a difficult week, I had a tiring week, I had a stressful week, I had a long week. Nobody says that I had a long week(开心的语气). No, you have to say I had a long week(抑郁的语气). This has been a long week, I hate long weeks, this week is so long, okay. What's the opposite? A short week? Some people might say short, but the opposite would be a good week, a easy week, a nice week, a stress-free week, ok I hope you didn't have a long week.

1、发音:
--had中的h不发音,与I连读在一起,读iad
--7Hs原则: 以下几个词出现在句中,其中H的音经常省略,不发音。he、her、him、his、had、has、have
--long 读 law 并且在这个句子中,long发音要长一些,重点强调
2、stress-free 复合形容词,无压力
