客房
This being human is a guest houseEvery morning a new arrival
A joy, a depression, a meanness
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor
Welcome and entertain the all
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrowswho violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture
Still, treat each guest honorably
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight
The dark thought, the shame, the malice
meet them at the door laughingand invite them in
Be grateful for whoever comes
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

人是一间客房。
每天早晨都有新来的客人。
快乐、沮丧、卑鄙，
一些瞬间的意识就像一个不曾预料的客人那样来了。
欢迎并且招待所有的人！
即使他们是一群悲伤，
