Happy life after retirement

Beiying

The person  is on the bed,

The book is on your knees,

Knowing the fate of the year,

Having your own world.

Quiet evenings,

In the lamplight,

Reading books you like best,

It brings you new interest and harvest.

Loneliness made you gloomy,

Business wipes out trouble.

Happiness comes from keeping on studying.

Looking back on beginning to write the ancient poems,

Now interested in modern poems.

I went my own way,

I choose to stay alone,

as a nature lady.

I don't like circulation

which is empty and tiring.

Far from luxurious banquet,

Drifting apart the floating world  which is noisy and amusing.

Peaceful mind in my heart,

Placid joy and happy soul.

Taking delight in doing things every day,

The life like warm breeze is free and simple,

Enough time made me think a lot.

Your imagination can soar freely,

Your strong feeling can wrirte in words.

Maybe we can call it the poem,

It  reveals your every ponderation and every mood.

Retirement years extend peacefully,

The life is rich as  I expected.

人在床上，

书在膝上，

到了知天命之年的你，

自有你自己的天地。

静静的夜晚，

灯光下，

读着你心爱的书籍，

每天都有新的乐趣，

         新的收获。

寂寞增加郁闷，

忙碌铲除烦恼。

快乐是在不停的学习中。

回首一年来从习作古诗入手

到目前的喜欢读现代诗。

独来独往的你啊，

目前过着一种真性情的

离群独处的生活。

不善交际的你啊，

不喜欢那空洞又累人的应酬，

远离了往日那豪华的酒宴，

疏远了欢娱和喧嚣的浮世。

但心灵却充满了宁静，

精神沐浴在平和的欣喜里。

自得其乐地过着暖如和风的

淡泊闲适的生活。

这样才有充分的时间，

让你沉思！

任凭你的思想翱翔！

把自己的内心的这种强烈的感觉

落在字上，

或许可以算作诗吧，

它揭示着你的每一个思考，

每一角心境。

我退休的岁月在平静地延伸。

它的丰富是在我意料之中的。
