It's the third checkup（n.体检） for Su Yiming （苏翊鸣）after the surgery on his leg two months ago.
The injury has kept the 14-year-old from training with the national snowboarding （n. 滑雪）team.
A full recovery may take one to two months. The snow season is coming. Su needs to get better for the most important life decision he is ever to make.
In 2014 Su got a role in The Taking of Tiger Mountain for his skiing talent.
But when Beijing won the bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics Su decisively put aside his budding （a.初露头角的）acting career to train as a winter sport athlete.
“When I heard the 2022 Winter Olympics would be held in Beijing I told myself that my next goal was to participate in Beijing2022 as a pro（professor n. 职业选手）.”
Su couldn't wait to return to the ski resort（n.胜地） despite （adv. 尽管）his unhealed （a.未痊愈的）injury. “In your first run at the point, look, you just squatted（v. 蹲下） for a second and then you stood up. You should keep squatting until you get there. In this way you can jump higher.”
Su eventually entered China's national team. And this is just the beginning of his professional career. “My goal is certainly the top of the podium （n.领奖台）and I will try my best to reach it every time.”
