斯里兰卡，最初听到这个名字是在高中时的一节地理课上，这个名字就在一瞬间植入了我的脑海中。书上说斯里兰卡是一个热带岛国，风景如画，她有个美丽的称呼：“印度洋的一滴眼泪”。那里盛产宝石与红茶，人民勤劳友善，是一片充满光明与希望的土地。而我贪心地想知道更多，我相信冥冥中我跟那片土地已结下了缘分。寒假里，通过AIESEC，我以海外志愿者的身份踏上了那片心之所往很久的土地，在一个月的时间里小心翼翼地记录下在那异乡生活的点点滴滴。你见过这个世界上最淳朴的笑容吗？我见过，在斯里兰卡每一个年轻的面庞上。我所做的项目属于教育交流类，在一个叫做尼甘布瓦的小乡村的英语学校里做英语助教。学生大多和我的年龄相仿，还有很多比我年长些的。上一秒还在打招呼作自我介绍的陌生人，下一秒便像深交多年的好友谈论着彼此的喜好。她们对中国对世界的了解都是非常匮乏的，当我用言语描述着我的国家和我眼中的世界时，我能看到她们眼中含着无限的惊喜与憧憬。这让我有一些小小的成就感，因为我的述说，让她们的眼界不再只局限于这片天空，而我相信不远的未来他们的足迹也不止于这一方小岛。我很幸运，在家乡的大雪纷飞的隆冬季节里，乘着飞机跨过半个亚洲，在异乡四季如春的明媚里邂逅了她们。我很骄傲，在这如流水般的匆匆光阴里，我给了她们尽自己的努力走出去，去看看这世界的动力与勇气。多希望日子过得慢一些，我想好好记住她们的名字和每一张笑脸，我想好好感受那如火炽烈的热情。一个月的时间终究太短，那些美好的回忆只能烙印在心里，我只想说：“斯里兰卡，后会有期”。
The first time I heard the name “Sri Lanka” was in my one of high school geography lesson and this name entered into my mind right away.Books says that :“Sri Lanka is a tropical island, the scenery is picturesque, and she has a beautiful name: "A tear in the India ocean". There is rich in gems and black tea, people are friendly, Sri Lanka is a bright and hopeful land.”However, I want to know more , I believe that there is a hidden line connected me with the land. During my winter vacation, through AIESEC, I step on the land of Sri Lanka with the identity of the overseas volunteer, in a month's time I meticulously recorded this foreign life experience bit by bit . Have you seen the world's most honest smile? I have seen, at Sri Lanka every young people’s face. My project belongs to education communication, and I worked as an English teaching assistant at a small village English school in Nittambuwa. Most of the students are similar to my age, and some of them are older than me. Last second we are strangers who introduced ourselves , the next second we will be like good friends to talk about our preferences. Their understanding of China and the world is very scarce, when I use words to describe my country and the world which in my eyes, I can see their eyes with infinite surprise and longing. This let me have a little sense of accomplishment, From what I said, they got a greater understanding of the world. Their eyes no longer confined to this piece of sky, and I believe in the near future their footprints are more than this one island. I was lucky, in the snowing winter season at my hometown , I flew across half of Asia, in the bright year-round spring days at a foreign land, I encountered them. I was very proud of, I give them the motive power and courage to try their best to go outside and see the large world. Wish the day goes slowly, I want to do well to remember their names and each smile face, I want to have a good feel for the fire burning passion. After all a month is too short, those memories can only be imprinted in my heart, I just want to say: "Sri Lanka, see you again."
