What is a HS 7 form?

This form is used by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the United States. Anyone who is importing a vehicle into the United States will need to file one of these forms with the U.S. Department of Transportation. This form will need detailed information about the vehicle that is being imported. This includes the make, model, and year. The person bringing the vehicle into the country will also need to include their personal information and the registration information for the vehicle. This will include the vehicle identification number, or VIN. The form must be signed before it will be accepted by the DoT.
