Summary
为什么Marilyn 会放弃自己的梦想呢？我想主要有两点：一，身为人妻人母，对家人有着深深地思念；二，自己的潜意识里女性医生还是一种不可思议的存在。
所以当Marilyn 回去后，听到Lydia把母亲的那本书丢掉以后，把自己的梦想寄托到了女儿身上。而Lydia以为母亲的回归是因为自己的承诺：一定会听话，做讨好妈妈的事情。起先Lydia 是享受的，她的安全感来源于妈妈每一个"tomorrow ", 但是“games would get trickier ”,Lydia 自杀的悲剧一方面归因于此。
对于Nath 而言，妈妈的回归好像并没有很大的变化。还是没有人关心他的梦想，甚至爸爸还讲不能称之为笑话的笑话。妈妈的一次注视会让他放下所有原谅她，但是Lydia一出现她的注意力就转移了。所以，Nath 与Lydia 的关系很微妙，他们相互支撑，但Nath 也把她推入了游泳池，是什么驱使着他呢？
