宝宝们都爱看排名，今天力昂君就满足大家——英国卫报（The Guardian）发布了2019年最新英国大学综合排名以及各大专业的排名，综合排名中，121所英国大学上榜，前三名和去年没有变化，剑桥大学仍是第一，牛津第二，圣安德鲁斯大学第三。
排名前十的大学相比去年变化不小。去年排名第六的拉夫堡大学今年排名第四，而去年排名第四的杜伦大学则下跌一位，排名第五。巴斯大学从去年的第五位下跌到第六位，帝国理工学院也顺应下跌一位，排名第七。华威大学和兰卡斯特大学则保持了去年的排名，位居第八和第九。
可喜的是，利兹大学从去年的十四位杀入前十。有喜就有悲，UCL跌出了前十，排在第十一位。当然，比起伦敦大学国王学院从去年的39位下跌到58位，这也不算什么。
很多大家熟悉的排名，例如QS世界大学排名、泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名，以及上海软科世界大学学术排名，它们的评分标准多与学术相关，有很多跟学习体验没有直接关系的维度，例如研究经费、实验室建设完善程度、学术论文刊发数量等。相比之下，《卫报》的大学排名就刨去了很多这类因素，它的评分选项几乎全都围绕着学生本身，卫报采用九种统计方法来估计大学在教授每门科目时的表现。
