Lesson 87 A perfect alibi

原文：

'At the time the murder was committed, Iwas traveling on the 8.0 o'clock train to London,' said the man.

'Do you always catch such an early train?'asked the inspector.

'Of course I do,' answered the man.' Imust be at work at 10.0 o'clock. My employer will confirm that I was there ontime.'

' Would a later train get you to work ontime ?' asked the inspector.

' I suppose it would, but I never catch alater train.'

'At what time did you arrive at the station?'

'At ten to eight. I bought a paper andwaited for the train.'

'And you didn't notice anything unusual ?'

' Of course not.'

'I suggest,' said the inspector, 'that you are not telling the truth. I suggest that you did not catch the 8.0 o'clock train, but that you caught the 8.25 which would still get you to work on time. You see, on the morning of the murder, the 8.0 o'clock train did not run at all. It broke down at Ferngreen station and was taken off the line.'

@[01]林-贵州-项目管理 unusual的辅音我觉得可以振动声带明显一点，最后的line有点l和n分不清，不过最近这个问题基本没有再犯了，，其他棒棒哒

@[00]ManHK-南宁-学生（英音） always总感觉不自觉带了卷音呢，其他棒棒哒，inspector问问题的时候都很小心的感觉

@[00]-纸多糖-广东-学生 糖糖的train还是应该再饱满一些，telling感觉读了个l，all的发音可以再听下原音，其他棒棒哒，今天很自信的感觉

1.小伙伴指出我的train，我每次读到也觉得很忐忑，【ei】双元音总是读的不够饱满，还得继续刷起来。

2.早上尝试下了慢速，觉得不太习惯呢，不过可以好好体会下原音的发音，慢慢习惯就好了吧。
