I used to fall in love with movies or serials about the future. Wishing once upon a time, I can still keep young even in the year of 2546,I can fly to the out space as easy as go walk home,and own an AI assistant who will appear whenever I need.How numerous evolutions beyond imagination will happen in the future according to the movies!
However, after reading this paper, which author consider most of the depictions of the future in the movies are due to a dumb concept. He deem it is nuts that peolpe imagine having all the power of a smartphone without actually needing a smartphone.Besides, adding sound effects make the futuristic machines though by moviemakers become a stupid conception, because there will be no one feel comfortable living in a room full of burbling screens.
What a paradox of our tech future in my mind! Yet as a doctor, I wish all diseases beyond healed now should be conquered in the future, just like the description in the "ThreeBody". Nevertheless, all of this is just imagination. What will be happen in the future it's magical to see.
