Today, Cindy a customer from South Africa visited us.
She asked us to pick her up in Le Royal Meridien hotel Shanghai, a 5 star luxury hotel, directly next to People/s square and Nanjing Road East one of the most important streets in Shanghai. It's a perfect gateway to discover Shanghai. Nanjing Road East is laden with hundreds of restaurants, stylish boutiques, bars selling everything from designer clothing to Chinese herbal medicine. The Bund is also within walking distance. I took the subway and got out of it from People square 5 th exit and the hotel is just opposite the station. Cindy always travels around and she is quite talkative.
We talked about the fragrance that people like in South Africa. Vanilla they like it very much. The house price in South Africa is expensive because of the western investors buy villas there. 2.5 million for a 54 square meters' house. Her father just passed away one week ago and she did not seem too sad when we talked face to face. Her whatApp avatar is a pic of her and her father, which is really creepy when i see it. She has a son 6 years old maybe who is very cute with blond hair. I said that her son is like his father and she denied and said he looked like her. But i do not understand how she explains for hair color difference. The weather in South Africa is winter now.
On the way back to office, i handled her our company brochure that is a good idea to print this material in advance to help her understand us well on the car, when is awkward to think of too many topics on the long drive.
She went through the order detail very quickly and i took notes of this meeting. Before we check out, i sent Cindy the meeting summary and the final order invoice then this meeting is finally finished.
