1.More and more developing countries start to cultivate their tourist resources. Some think this will benefit the economy of these nations; others insist the outweigh the merits. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
With the development of the economy, an increasing number of developing countries begin cultivating their tourist attractions. Some worry the disadvantages will eclipse the advantages, while others content this encouragement would assist the economy of the country.
Firstly, tourism also allows wealth to be injected into a community in a variety of ways. This is because when tourists spend their time in the locality, they would inevitably have to cater, accommodate and entertain themselves, which would increase the income for the local government. Therefore, encouraging tourism would be beneficial for the nation's economy.
Over-developing the tourist site, however, would damage the local environment and bring security concern for the tourist site.(这个分论点也可以用and 并列写两个缺点,这里我只写了local env一个) To accommodate more tourists, hotel managers have to look for new sites to build more hotels and this behavior would take up some of the natural lands, diminish habitats for wild animals, thus damaging the local natural circumstances.
In conclusion, though encouraging tourism industry could boost the economy of developing countries, it would also do harm to the host community.
