Yesterday, I seemed to have enjoyed myself too much, as a result, I didn't manage the time appropriately. Feeling guilty deep in my heart, today I resolved to make it meaningful to show my respect towards time. As today is Sunday, which is the church day, I told Jenny that I would like to go together with them to the church located in Baulkham Hills. It turned out that there were a great many people who attended church and it was really enjoyable to listen to the soothing music and the nice people talking about their gratitude to God. What confused me a bit was why those who went to the stage were all women? Maybe females tend to be more emotional, some of them even choked up as long as they stood there or they were unable to look up when crying like a baby. I think that they are very honest in front of God, unlike me, who will have distractions in the meanwhile... Indeed, my soul needs to be purified.
Back home, I went on to learn about writing essays online, my poor writing skills... Besides, I sent a consultation talk and trial class request to MIT, the recommended language school situated in downtown. This time, I draw a lesson from the past and will not rely so much on the school and its teachers. They will surely act as my guidance on how to march on in a right direction, but the main motivation or the fuel lies mostly at myself. I look forward to the day when I can say to my mum, "Told you I can make it!"
After supper (delicious ham porridge and fried noodles with vegetables cooked by Jenny) Jenny asked me the reason why I would like to come to Australia and commented me as being a brave girl going overseas on myself. It is not a long story, so I shared with her and Ling my experience and the shift of my mindset, in particular, I also told them about my future plan. Actually, I could choose to keep silent about this part, but I trust them and I also believe that they are willing to give me their opinions and spare no effort to support me. As it is worthwhile to open up my mind to those who are respectful. Even though we may not live in the same country in the future, I will not forget their kindness to me and will try my best to reward them some day.
Another thing worth mentioning is Ling and Garry often spare me some food as my lunchbox. I feel guilty due that I have only paid Ling the extra part for the supper on weekdays. They even invite me for dinner on weekends. I will buy rice and oil as a reward. Thank you!
