Lesson 15 Good news
The secretary told me that Mr. Harmsworthwould see me. I felt very nervous when I went into his office. He did not lookup from his desk when I entered. After I had sat down, he said that businesswas very bad. He told me that the firm could not afford to pay such largesalaries. Twenty people had already left. I knew that my turn had come. 'Mr.Harmsworth,' I said in a weak voice. 'Don't interrupt,' he said. Then he smiledand told me I would receive an extra thousand pounds a year!

知识笔记:无
感悟:一晃坚持两周,刻意去练习第一次这样坚持朗读。最近碰上要英语表达,发现很结巴,算是有近一年没有和老外面对面交流了。
