第133天 雨天（Rainy Days）

这是记录小确幸事件的第133天。

我喜欢雨天，不知不觉就喜欢上了——听雨水拍打窗户的声音，看它们像线一样从愁容满面的乌云投向每片咯咯欢笑的树叶。每当下雨的时候，我就想一直凝视窗外的表演，就好像它们是特意为我准备的，让我可以名正言顺地假装无甚要紧的事要做。更少不了逢场作戏——思考人生，当然，我不只有观雨的时候才思考，但雨天的思考——怎么说呢——你知道很多很多人也正在思考着，而不必像晴天时那样忙碌。

我很少在阴雨天感到阴郁，或许因为窗外越是阴郁，就映衬得房间里越是温暖。我总会想起小的时候，妈妈常在雨天时为我煮姜汤。我总要静静地，慢慢地喝汤，独自享受这份难得的不被作业打扰的安静。

但我不喜欢暴风雨，这种“热闹”不值得期待，因为它们往往不是带着祝福降临的。

26/07/2021 Rainy Days

I really like rainy days in spite of myself. I would say it‘s enjoyable to hear the raindrops and watch them fall pattering upon the leaves, which always give me such a sense of tranquillity and calm.

When it rains, I seem to hear the breath of life and I feel as if I were in a dream. Maybe the rain, especially drizzles, really makes you think about life. Well, all men should do that from time to time, even without rains. Is it weird for me to think this way?

I never feel down when it is cloudy, because it reminds me of ginger soups cooked by my mom in rainy days when I was a kid. Obviously, the gloomier the weather, the warmer the indoor lighting.

But I don't like heavy storms or hail, because not only I'm scared when I hear a few rumbles of thunder after the flash of lightning but also cherished things like crops, trees, windows, cars, are easily ruined by storms. Sometimes, water relentlessly floods the streets. I can't forget once when it poured and streets were inundated, I almost drowned on my way to school. And after arriving at classroom, seated, I felt extremely embarrassed while taking my soaked textbooks and pens out of my drenched backpack with eyes of the crowd falling upon me.

There was a heavy downpour today. Although I couldn't remember the last time it rained like this, I did remember one time when the strong wind blew my umbrella inside out and I had to walk against the wind with my hair all messy. This kind of helpless moment always makes you feel particularly wronged if you are obliged to stay in a bustling metropolis without the company of relatives and friends.

At any rate, that's what I think about rainy days.
