今天妈妈终于同意换掉卧室的衣柜了，其实这个衣柜没用多少时间，只是因为木板被虫子蛀坏了。
前年夏天，妈妈第一次发现鞋柜长虫子，在我的劝说下，换了一个新鞋柜；去年夏天她的隔断和衣柜也长了虫子，她很不愿意地换了隔断，但坚决不同意换衣柜，因为衣柜还比较新，她舍不得。
虽然买了治虫的药用在衣柜上，但今年夏天一到，衣柜的门板上还是出现了更多的虫洞，我告诉她，如果不换掉，恐怕损失更大，或许会祸及其他的家具。
妈妈意识到斩草必须除根，终于同意换掉坏家具。
