    There were a discussion in the class —— what kind of husband do you want? I remember my answer includes five aspects：fresh, hardworking, responsible , respect to other and tall. However, the truth is that when you fall in love with the man, all the rules will be ignored. Lord Arthur Goring is the man I really love with in the film an ideal husband.

    Goring appeared in the first few minutes. I was not interested in what he said at first. However, when he said " You see Phipps, fashion is what one wears oneself. What is unfashionable is what other people wear."

What he said is really amazing. I was surprised when I heard he said that. He was so handsome with his suit. He is elegant and cultured, and he is a real noble. And when he said "Fashion is what one wears oneself. What is unfashionable is what other people wear" , I thought he is intelligent. And then he said " To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance."

It is brilliant. People always ask for other's love but forget to love themselves. Howeve, the truth is that when you have known how to love yourself, you will then know how to love others and other people will love you or respect you. Love yourself is also romantic, and you need to love yourself forever. That is what all the people need to know and need to do. And you have to say Lord Arthur Goring is a real intelligent and charming man.

Lord Arthur Goring is the man who has his own view of love. As far as his father is concerned, Lord Goring should get marry as soon as possible, because he has been 36 years old. Well, Lord Goring does not really care about that. He gives himself his own freedom. Actually he looks like a playboy. Well maybe he is a playboy. He is a little bit frivolous in my point of view. I can not agree with his actions to Chiltern Mabel. He likes her I think, but he does not show his concern to her. He forgot the appointment with Ms. Mabel. This can be forgiven because he was in the trouble of crisis of his friend's confidence. However, what he did worst is that he never shows his love to Ms.Mabel. And when he sees his competitor —— another man who fall in love with Ms.Mabel, he still do nothing. Fortunately, Ms.Mabel gives him chance to express himself, because Ms.Mabel loves Lord Goring very much. Thanks to that, they can finally get married. In my point of view, maybe most of the girls do what Ms.Mabel do. Girls always secretly focusing on the boys they like, and catch the chances to look at them or chat with them. They try their best to catch their attention. As far as I am concerned, this kind of action is really lovely and romantic. Just like most of the girls, Ms.Mabel finds way to catch Lord Goring' attention, which shows her love to him. Unlike Ms.Mabel, Lord Goring seems does not show his love on his own initiative. Compared with Ms.Mabel, he looks a little bit shy. Well, that is Lord Goring's own way. And Lord Goring and Ms.Mabel finally get married. That is wonderful.

    Lord Goring can also be a wonderful friend. He is warm-hearted. When his friend Robert and his wife were in trouble, he found many ways to help them. And he is even willing to sacrificing his own marriage. He is responsible and trustworthy. I really hope I can find a reliable friend just like him. Also, he shows his respect to his friend. When his friend Robert misunderstands him, he still wants to help his friend.  Friendship takes a real big part in his mind. He is kind and he is a really nice man.

Above all I have mentioned, Lord Goring is the man who is charming, responsible, warm-hearted and really nice. I love him because he loves himself. Love also means respect. Only the man who loves himself will know how to love others. Also he is very romantic. He has his own mind and he knows what he needs to do. As far as I am concerned, Lord Arthur Goring is a real ideal husband. This charming man has show his attitude to us and I really love it.

This movie is more interesting than I expected. It tells me that love needs forgiveness. In a marriage, love must be the most important thing. However, it can not only exists love. There must be respect and understand. The couple need to understand each other and respect each other. Do not cheat. Do not hide. And try to learn forgiveness. These may help to build up a better marriage.
