1.首先看两个重要的变量 Looper mLooper和MessageQueue mQueue;
Looper这个类是android系统的轮循器,是android系统能进行一系列操作的必要条件,当应用程序启动时,开启了一个ActivityThread的线程,同时创建了一个mainLooper系统轮循器(主线程),用来将消息队列循环起来以处理消息队列的机制,而这个ActivityThread创建的时候其内部有一个H mH = new H()(H类继承自Handler)的变量也创建了,mH就是我们系统的Handler,用于处理四大组建的生命周期,比如activity的创建销毁,服务的创建销毁等等。
MessageQueue即消息队列,但里面并不是保存的消息队列,而是消息队列的头指针mMessage,因为消息队列Message是以链表的形式存储的,只要能得到头指针就能访问所有消息(它的排列顺序是按照消息发布时间排序的,Message里面有一个成员变量when,记录message的发布时间);MessageQueue里面还包含boolean enqueueMessage(Message msg, long when)和Message next()两个重要方法,enqueueMessage主要将消息入队并排序,next就返回即将要发送的消息。

直接看同步代码块synchronized,首先初始化新消息msg,第一个if语句里面如果消息队列为空,则直接让mMessage当头指针;再看else语句,启动一个for循环通过消息发送的时间判断新消息msg该插入的位置,然后break后然后插入新消息到消息链表。

通过以源码可以看到,系统的Handler决定着我们Activity,service等等组件的生命周期,它的内部也存在着一个消息循环,通过消息循环更新我们四大组件的生命周期的改变,一旦系统的handler或looper停止,那么我们的应用程序也会停止。
