鹿鸣和几位警察离开审讯室，去了警事所的小会议室。

鹿鸣很快找来了千里寻真他们，几个布置了下一步的方案。除了孟晓云为了保护雅荻，住进了她家之外，其余三人继续留在杜里大叔的乡村小旅馆。宣仪安和刘三喜继续负责和小镇居民搞好关系，了解外围情况。千里寻真则任务重大，要设法进一步接近杰娜，争取说服她主动自首。
正在千里寻真考虑，如何去进一步接近杰娜的时候，杰娜居然自己找上门来。

杰娜站在小院篱笆墙外面和千里寻真说话。

千里寻真跟着杰娜回到家。她发现杰娜也是住在三楼的小阁楼里。杰娜的房间布置的和雅荻并不同，不是黑沉沉的，而是有点光怪陆离，到处都是怪异的童话故事里的魔兽。但是整个房间的基调，保持着小姑娘喜欢的粉红色。千里寻真住进来以后，显然有些拥挤，可是她并不在意。在她看来和杰娜这样亲密的接触，正好可以打开她的心灵。
当天夜里，千里寻真和杰娜，头并着头趴在小窗户前面，看着满天的星辰。
