The single cell rectangular battery is a bit of a throw back after the L shaped batteries w just saw in the 10s and the 10s Max
But removal is pretty much the same as its stuck on with the help of four adhesive strips, with a little alcohol and careful pulling, they release with little trouble
You can thumb through your feeds for a whole 15 hours with this 3.79 bolt 11.16 watt hour battery
This capacity falls right between the 10s is 10.13 watt hour battery and the tens max is 12.08 watt hour battery
Turning out attention to the logic board, we spot sth interesting:a modular SIM card reader, then after removing a few more standoffs screws and disconnecting some cables, we free the logic board
We’ve counted eight standoff screws so far, this phone is acting very standoffish
On the board we spot the hexa core a12 bionics system-on-chip which apple claims is 15% faster than last year’s a11 found on the iPhone 10
There are only a few components left in the rear case and the true depth camera system is next to come out
This camera system features a familiar trio of an IR camera红外相机, a front-facing camera and a dot projector which all work together to bring you an emoji to life and unlock your iPhone with face ID
Now we left with the barometric vent and the dock connector in the case which leaves just the stuck-on wireless charging coil
With all the parts laid out before us, it’s time to talk repairability
The iPhone 10 are scored a 6 out of 10 and here is why
Access to the often repaired display and battery remain a priority in the iPhones design
A broken display can be replaced with minimal hardware removal and with little care you can preserve face ID
Apple again uses tiny uncommon pentalobe梅花形螺丝and tri-point screws三点螺丝to stymie repair
But these fasteners are preferred over tough clue
Waterproofing measures complicates some repairs but make difficult water damage repairs less likely
But on the downside glass on the front and back doubles the crack ability
And broken glass requires an entire chassis replacement
