2. let sth go or let go of sth: 放开，松手

如：I'll never let go of your hand我永远不会放开你的手；

另外，let it go，可表示放开，不再执念于某事物/人等

3.presume: 擅自(决定)做某事,或假定某事（表推测）

I won't presume to advise you on that matter.

那件事上我不敢给你建议。

You are married,I presume?

我假定你結了婚吧？

4.distract sb：使分心，注意力不集中；

Be distracted by sth, distract Sb from sth

I was distracted by the television when doing homework. 我写作业的时候被电视分了心。

distraction: n. 令人分心的人/东西，

There are too many distractions here to work properly. 这儿叫人分心的事太多，使人無法好好工作。

5. absurd：荒唐可笑的，荒谬的；同义词:ridiculous，这两词多贬义

6. coldest winter：

Subzero temperature:零度以下negative temperature

Minus ten degree centigrade:零下十度

Three degree below zero零下三度

13. hang off: 悬挂 back of the ship在船尾

14. pull yourself up：把自己拉上来

15. I got you：我抓住你了，我明白你了，我懂了，我支持你

16. fetch sb or sth：去叫来某人，拿来某物。

  Fetch the doctor.叫医生来。
