The Lenape(means “original man”) are the native people who live in Canada and US. They arrived 35,000 years earlier than the European. They good at hunting, but not farming and settling. Their land discovered and they colonized by European. A large number of Lenape were killed by the diseases and weapons brought by Europeans. Although they were miscalled “Indians”, we have to admit their own civilizations. People came later also forced them to move their home. Today, they are not the majority of US. Most of the Lenape/Delaware are living in Oklahoma and Canada. They have Lenape schools and their kids can speak in it in families.
