The Hubble was launched into space by Nasa on April 20, 1990 at a cost of over billion dollars. But the pictures it sent us were disappointing because its main mirror was faulty. So four anstronauts sent by Nasa will fly up to the Hubble on the shuttle Endeavor.
hey will have the Hubble repaired. By then, the Hubble's eagle eye will have sent us the clearest picures of the stars and distant galaxies that we have ever seen. Therefore we will be able to learn a great deal about the age and size of the universe.
