A 5G-tech promotion(提升，推广) stand at the recent China International Import Expo(博览会 ) in Shanghai .
The first batch (批，一批) of 5G smartphones will be priced(定价） above 8,000 yuan ($1,166),as more than 30 pre -commercial 5G devices are likely to hit the market in 2019 , China Mobile ,the world 's largest telecom(电讯，电信) carrier (客运公司) by mobile subscribers(用户) ， forecast on Saturday.
But as the fifth-generation mobile network is officially commercialized in 2020 , the prices of 5G smartphones are likely to fall comsiderably , with the most inexpensive (不昂贵的) one reaching about 1,000 yuan ,China Mobile added.
According to the Beijing-based(驻北京的) company , it will test the first batch of prototype(原型，雏形) 5G smartphones made by Huawei, Xiaomi,ZTE,Vivo,Oppo in the first quarter(季度，一刻钟) of next year .
The above companies are all working hard to bring useable 5G smartphones to the market as soon as possible ,even eyeing the first half of 2019 at the earliest .
