On the Internet

In the picture,four people,though apparently from different parts of the world,are communicating with one another through the internet. As the "smiling globe" in the picture suggests,the internet makes our world more connected and life more convenient.

As far as I am concerned,the internet provides us with quicker communication. With a network cable and a computer,interpersonal communication is only a mouse click away. This is significantly better than the old days when we had to wait for weeks or even moths for our correspondence. Now,whether our friends or colleagues each other anytime and any where through e-mails,or better still,instant messaging tools,such as WeChat. Given these handy communication means,we are able to maintain and enhance our personal and business relationship.

In short,the internet shortens the physical distance between us and makes our world a global village,where communication is just at our fingertips.
