• 造句：I have developed a ambitious writing plan for my Master's thesis.

• 该语境里的“ambitious”，不是“野心勃勃”，而是“耗时费力”。

2. deduction deduction

• 造句：It's important for technological thesis to make a logical deduction.

• 有意思的是查 “ deduction 演绎；推理 ” 字典同时给出了 “ induction 归纳，归纳法 ” 。这让我回忆起高中数学里的归纳法和演绎法。而区别的关键在于：

  • 归纳从个别（individual，particular）到一般（general）
  • 演绎则从一般到个别

3. ever since ever since

• 造句：I missed the flight and broke the appointment with him, and I've never been to the city ever since.

• 其实ever since的意思早知道，只是放在句中被这个语法现象迷惑。ever since在句子里有两种可能——

  • 一是作为连词，放在句中：Another interview revealed that ever since childhood she had been very suspicious of strangers.

  • 二是作为状语修饰整个句子，一般放在句末：We came to the UK in 1974 and have lived here ever since.

    • 当然也有放在句中的：He has lived ever since on the ThaiBurma border, seeking to support and revive the democracy movement in his country.

今天收获最大的是看作者怎么循循善诱地剖析一篇科技板块文章的脉络。

I could hardly ask for a broader application of the research: space, human problems and the cognitive process.

从实验结果到研究现状，再向相关领域的纵深，作者的一两句话的提点，把科技文献的逻辑串联更加清晰地呈现给了读者。

写作需要注意逻辑的环环相扣。但是即使我短期内写不出这样专业而明了的技术文章，也在这里借作者的耐心引导，体会到阅读这类技术文章的技巧了。
学习写作的过程也学会了阅读。
