Work

I’ve discussed work related things with Mr. Seo late today.

For Amanda, I feel that she’s reluctant to do the basic work, and I’ve been trying my best to help her in past time, but she seems not satisfied. I think basic work like payment and stamping etc. is not for me but for the team, I can help do it if I have enough time but it’s not the situation now.  I also have lots of basic matters to handle, if no one doesn’t want to do basic things, how does the team work well.

I don’t know how to do with the issue, I think I’ve tried my best to make her happy, but don’t know why she asks me to do the work which she’s responsible again and again. Maybe the work assigned her in previous years is not in line with her interest, but she should discuss it with leader but not allocate work herself between she and me.

And today Mr. Seo told me Scott said he was not in FDD/LDD process, that also makes me astonished. Most of FDD work is outsourced to 3rd party and I don’t engage in, as they will conduct much detailed professional accounting and bookkeeping work. I mainly coordinate the timeline for the DD work between auditors and target company, wait for the reports that I’ll share with him, and summarize the key risks based on the reports which I also send to him.

So as all the materials I’ve shared with him, what does he want to do in the process of FDD? The coordination work or risk summarize work? As far as I know, in SL and SK China, investment mgrs doesn’t engage in FDD/LDD as it’s outsourced, they just read final DD reports.

LDD work is mainly in charged by legal dept., I just coordinate with Julie.

For Scott, I doubt he may have a misunderstanding of FDD/LDD work I’m doing, it’s totally different from CDD. So I want to explain to him next week, to remove misunderstandings, and try to see what he really needs. I don’t know his thought until Mr. Seo told me today.
