today is the dragon boat festival of 2022, actually one week ago in my wechat friend group , a friend said that she hoped to go to the Grant Canal of tongzhou in the festival to camping and said it would be very nice if a tent is set under the big trees along the river. and trees are a shelter from the sun. friends can gather together share the food and chat .
so our 6 family drove to the Grant Canal today. we started at 10.30 am,and after driving one hour we got there. today it is so hot. the temperature reached up to 35degree。 mingming's mother ,mingming, my kid haobao,haobao's mother and I we 5 peiple shared one car. i drove the car. we gathered together in the entrance of the grant canal garden.
it was my first time to go to the grant canal.duiring the driving journey. i did not have special impression. only remembered that the navigator reminded me that we needed to go across an underground tunnel with a length of 6.5 kilometers . it was also my first time to drive into such a long tunnel. in the tunnel the speed limit is set to 80 kilometers one hour. and haobao said to her mother " mama, it is dark"。 after finished passing the tunnel, my eyes felt uncomfortable and i slowed down the speed for a while.
and finally our nearly 20 people went into the garden to look for a place to set the tent.
we shared the food together. mingming's mother brought the fried chicken she did for us. very delicious ,and alittle bit spicy ,not suitable for kids .but our adults felt very nice. and the chicken wings my wife did the kids love to eat. but the adults felt the taste was a little bit soft.
xiaoA's mother did not do any food and bought some breads in the supermark. she bought too many breads. and snacks. the kids love her very much.
as we have to return in the evening ,all of us did not prepare for any wines,
the kids were very happy .they were singing ,dancing and playing.
3 hours later, we decided to change to another place. and we drove to a Cherry-Garden to do a cherry picking. it was very happy.haobao had been eating the cherries since he went into the garden. the water in the garden is so cold, obviously it is the underwater,so kids used it to wash the cherries and their faces. some even drank it.so nice.
happy time is always limited and we had to return home.one hour's journey, two kids felt asleep. i had to carry haobao to home. maybe he just had a nice dream and in the dream he ate cherries with his little friends when the breeze blew his hair.
