From the section 7 of the story, we can see that Haw finally found a new Cheese station with a great supply of Cheese and had learnt how to deal with change well. The story is coming to an end, we have learnt a lot from his experience.
Some fear should be respected, as it can keep us out of real danger. However, most of our fears are irrational and have kept us from changing when we need to. We do not need to overcomplicate matters or confuse ourselves with fearful beliefs. We should notice when the little changes begin so that we would be better prepared for the big change that might be coming. Although we do not like change, sometimes it would turn out to be a blessing in disguise as it can lead us to find better Cheese.
Human being is the most complicated creature on the earth, thus we won’t deal with changes so easily, just like Sniff and Scurry. However, we can act like Haw, that is, letting go of the past and adapting to the present.
