B.Chapter 1 问题
1.What does Bukowski's success try to prove?
① Bukowski's success lies in his self-awareness of his failure. "Dedicated to nobody" reveals what life is.
② Taking American culture into consideration, there is no denying that Americans stress perfectism, which can be seen in sports, media, education, etc. When high expectations of being perfect become a trend,Bukowski's anti-traditional behaviour enables him to set himself apart.
2.What's wrong with the conventional life advice, which is fixating on what you lack?
This fixation constantly reminds you of what you lack,of what you should have been but failed to be.According to The Backwards Law, pursuing something only reinforces the fact that you lack it in the first place. What's more, when you feel bad at your lacking something, you feel bad at this feeling.Ultimately, you end up doing nothing. Just be free from matters of consequences.Just don't give a fuck about everything. Do not try.

三.感想
读这本书,之所以感同身受,是因为我恰好经历了从be anxious about getting anxious到not give a fuck about everything的转变。
