一、explore：

英英释义：inquire into or discuss (a subject) in detail

可同义替换：talk about /look at/discuss

用法：可用于论文或PPT讲演是作为介绍使用

1、翻译：This book explores the complicated relationship between China and the US in the past two decades.

2、例子一：这门课程讲的是计算机技术在金融领域的应用。

This course explores the application of computer technology in finance.

二、embark on

英英释义：to start a new project or activity, usually one that will be difficult and will take time

可同义替换 ：start, begin 这些表示开始的单词。

embark on 的本意是“登船”，因此相比 start， embark on 表示“开始做”时更有画面感，像是要开始一场期待已久的漫长旅途。
