1. Basic Vocabulary

• 基本的 Compass Points （东西南北）
  • East
  • West
  • South
  • North

2. The Key

• 图例中用的是首字母大写的形式，但是我们写的时候要换成小写。
• 不必执着于把图例里面的词全换掉，有时候有的词根本没法换。

可用的替换：

housing area	town center	roads
residential area	city center (WRONG)	streets (WRONG)
	center of the town

3. Roads and Rail

The railway runs through Dartford from north to south.
...crosses...
...passes though...
...goes though...

• 对道路、主干道等，上述动词依旧适用。

4. Population

• 不是所有地图都会给出人口，但是如果给出，就应该写在作文里。

• The population of Dartford is 60,000.
• B is located north east of Dartford, which has a population of 60,000.
• Dartford has 60,000 inhabitants.
• There are 60,000 people lives in Dartford.
