Have you thought about death or dying? How did you feel when you were thinking about them?
The first time I realized that death was my grandmother's death, because I grew up with my grandmother, and my grandmother's death made us miserable. I think parents are getting older, and they will leave us for 20 or 30 years. Whenever I think about this, I feel very sad and feel sorry for myself. How can I make them more relaxed?
How knowing “then you die” would affect the way we live? What is the sunny side of death?
The worst moment of our life maybe also is the most transformational. In a bizarre, backwards way, death is the light by which the shadow of all of life’s meaning is measured. Maybe we can realize what is the most important thing to us .
Did you have a transformational moment growing up? Something you would consider a wake-up call?
I didn't have a transformational moment growing up.
Without death, everything would feel inconsequential, all experience arbitrary, all metrics and values suddenly zero.
