This is a colorful world and each color is unique. However, my favorite color is yellow, which is the brightest color in the world . In my house , bed sheets and curtains are all yellow, which makes me feel warm and happy.
Many years ago , as assessors, we used this question to select candidate in campus recruiting, how do you make a congenitally blind to understand what is the color yellow.?
That’s a wonderful question , I considered it seriously . Actually my best friend is a blind man, he lost his sight at fifteen years old. So I had some experiences of living with a blind.
Maybe, I will lead him to a beautiful garden, we are all bathed in the warm sunshine, and I will tell him sunshine is gold-yellow. Yellow is a kind of warm color. Maybe I ‘d like to put my hands in his hands and wander in a Fruit garden with him, the air smells sweet and we will taste these delicious mangoes and oranges together, I will tell him this is yellow, which a kind of sweet color.
Forty six years ago, there was a moving story “Going Home”, which had published in ”New York time”. In a long bus to Fort Lauderdale ,six young men noticed, one man sat in complete silence. That man just had done his time, and he wrote to his wife when he was in jail. If she had a new guy, he understood . If she still loved him, tied a yellow ribbon round the ole Oak tree and he would took off them and went home. if not, he would went on through, and never bothered her. When the bus was nearing that great Oak tree, it became quietly in the bus, Suddenly all of the young people were up out of their seats, screaming, shouting, crying and dancing. It was covered with yellow ribbons, the tree likes a banner of welcome, blowing and billowing in the wind. Yellow is a happy color.
Maybe, you are moved deeply with tears in your eyes now, aren’t you? Yellow is warm, sweet and happy color, that is why I love it.
