Today ,I watched the movie:<Oliver1968>, it was a sad story writed in Victoria era,it has-been made into Many Movie, this movie is the movie made in 1968.
The whole story in <oliver1968>is:Oliver was an orphan who born In a workhouse.when he was born,his mother died,so he lived in the workhouse in his childhood.The workhouse didn’t give the children enough food.so all of the children was very hungry.one day, children decided to let Oliver ask for more food.but because of this,The administrative council in the workhouse was very angry, they sale Oliver by three pounds to the undertaker shop, in undertaker shop, A boy Hit Oliver,so he ran out the undertaker shop, hided in the basket car and go to London.
in London, Oliver met an boy called dodger.dodger was a thief who worked for an very old man:Fagin, when dodger found Oliver was an orphan, he think that Oliver can be a thief to, so he let Oliver too see fagin, fagin stay Oliver in his home ,He begin to work with other children. But,when dodger pick a pocket from Mr Browlow( A big gentleman in London), mr browlow Thought that was Oliver who pick his pocket, so he let other person to catch Oliver, at last, they find that oliver didn’t pick Mr browlow’s pocket,Mr browlow was sorry ,so He let oliver go to his home to live.
But the big thief Bill who worked with fagin Think Oliver will say something not good for them,he forced his wife Nancy goes with him to catch Oliver Back, Nancy didn’t want do that, but At last she go, and Bring Oliver to Fagin.
At that night,Bill forced Oliver rob with him, Nancy can’t stand it, so she goes to tell mr browlow to meet her at London bridge,when Oliver came back,She bring Oliver to Mr Brownlow,but bill found this,he was angry,so he killed Nancy,but when bill run,somebody shook at him,he die yet. As last,mr browlow Bring Oliver away ,he found that Oliver was a his daughter’s son.
That’s the story in this movie,I Think,this was a movie mix funny ,amuse,and sad together,in some place,you will laugh and the can’t stop.but in the other places,you well almost cry.and this movie also a movie reflect human nature and the World in Victoria era,I think it was very good to watch.first,you will know something in Victoria era.(you just know the good thing in Victoria era , but in this movie ,you can know some bad thing in victoria era) Then,You can appreciate this good story,fell The beautiful in it.
