For 2019

Dear fellow ToastMasters and distinguished guests, this is our last regular meeting before our Chinese New Year. Please allow me to use this occasion to make a toast.

Here is a toast to the past.

2018 was a great year, not as good as the past years in many aspects, but still great in many ways.

Our country celebrated the 40th years’ anniversary for the open up resolution. And our club celebrated its 400th meeting anniversary.

We had so many excellent members from various backgrounds, trainer, English teacher, investor, Chinese medicine doctor, HR specialist etc who had brought wonderful sharings on the stage.

We had terms and terms of awesome officers, some are sitting here tonight, some may be far away and some  is standing here giving a speech. We also had terms and terms of handsome presidents, some are sitting here tonight  like Cheney, Conan, and some is not, like Navy. Especially Navy,  who promised to be evaluator and stood me up......so that Cricket is here. Thanks Cricket.

And we have so many nice guests tonight as we had for most meetings in 2018.

For last year’s words belong to last year’s language, and next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.

Here is a toast to the future.

May you pass all the speeches that you prepared dedicatedly.

May your evaluation give valuable insights to the speaker.

May your every appearance in the meeting reward you back with joyful and fruitful memories.

May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future.

May your troubles during the coming year be as short as your New Year’s resolutions.

May your worries  be less, and your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door.

照例一点点后感

现场讲致辞，节奏跟自己背稿子差别很大，导致这篇前后速度不太一样。然后被timer发现了。哈哈。（timer大人很厉害）。

排比句，还是慢一点比较有气势。紧张和节奏乱了导致丢了一些梗，舌头打结了一次。

演讲的时候，看到一些老朋友，过去历历在目。还有那么多新面孔，未来灼灼可期。
