一、AMS简介
AMS是Android系统中的核心服务,全名是ActivityManagerService。在SystemServer进程启动完成后,会启动AMS服务,其作用如下:
- 统一调度所有应用程序的Activity的生命周期
- 启动或杀死应用程序的进程
- 启动并调度Service的生命周期
- 注册BroadcastReceiver,并接收和分发Broadcast
- 启动并发布ContentProvider
- 调度task
- 处理应用程序的Crash
- 查询系统当前运行状态
二、AMS启动流程
下面分析的是Android6.0.1的系统源码,其它版本的源码稍微不同,但是思路基本一致。
[SystemServer.java的startBootstrapServices方法]
SystemServer的main方法执行代码

三、Activity的启动流程
在APP里面调用startActivity后,在底层是会调用AMS服务,来实现Activity的跳转的,接下来看一下整个调用流程:

经过一系列的调用流程后,会执行Instrumentation的newActivity方法,完成Activity的创建。
四、ANR异常
ANR场景
- Service Timeout:比如前台服务在20s内未执行完成;
- BroadcastQueue Timeout:比如前台广播在10s内未执行完成
- ContentProvider Timeout:内容提供者,在publish过超时10s;
- InputDispatching Timeout: 输入事件分发超时5s,包括按键和触摸事件。
ANR流程和原理
- 首先通过handler注册一条TimeOut消息
- 在规定时间内工作完成后把消息移除
- 否则,发送一条TIMEOUT_MSG,触发ANR异常

消息触发后,会执行AMS的appNotResponding方法,此方法会拼接ANR的异常信息,并且保存到traces.txt文件下面。
